Career Day Committee - Help inspire the next generation by bringing real-world careers to life! As a member of the Career Day Committee, you'll help recruit engaging professionals, welcome guest speakers, and create a meaningful experience that opens students' eyes to future possibilities.

Time/Event Commitment: Preparations begin in January; Event date usually scheduled for the third Wednesday in March; March 17, 2027-all day event

Community Partner Committee - NEW THIS YEAR! Help build meaningful partnerships that directly support our students and school! This new committee works alongside the VP of Fundraising to connect with local businesses, grow our Corporate Sponsorship program, and strengthen community relationships throughout the year.

Time/Event Commitment: Assist the VP of Fundraising throughout the school year. Corporate Campaign for the following year starts in May 2027.

Holiday Party Committee - Help make two of the most exciting student events of the year unforgettable! This creative committee transforms the gym into a festive space, decorates for seasonal celebrations, and helps run the concession stand during our Fall and Winter Holiday Parties. If you love decorating, teamwork, and creating fun memories for students, this committee is the perfect way to get involved.

Time/Event Commitment: Fall Semester / preparing for events starts in September. 2 Holiday parties scheduled for students during their PE classes; Fall Party (last Friday in October during Spirit week-decorate Thursday afternoon) and Winter Holiday Party (decorate Thursday afternoon), Help man the concession stand (October 30, 2026 and December 17, 2026)

Hospitality Committee - Help make our amazing teachers and staff feel appreciated all year long! If you enjoy decorating, entertaining, or planning special events, this committee is a fun way to spread encouragement and create memorable experiences. Make a big impact while serving alongside a great team.

If you enjoy entertaining, decorating, or event planning, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! 

Time/Event Commitment: volunteer at 8-10 events throughout the school year

LPMS Appreciation Week Committee - Help celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who make LPMS such a special place! This committee plans a week of thoughtful surprises, treats, and special events that show our appreciation and gratitude.

Time/Event Commitment: preparations start late February/Early March; LPMS Appreciation Week is typically scheduled for early May (May 3-6, 2027)

Spirit Shop Committee - Show your school spirit while helping fellow Rebels do the same! This committee works with vendors to offer fun spirit wear and merchandise throughout the year, while assisting with sales, organizing inventory, and distributing orders. It's a great way to support our school, connect with other families, and keep LPMS spirit shining all year long.

Time/Event Commitment: Fall Spirit Shop and a possibility of a Spring Spirit Shop

Spirit Week Committee - Did you love decorating your car windows for school spirit back in high school? Then this committee is for you! Members help bring school pride to life by decorating the front lobby and painting the front and back windows for Spirit Week.

Time/Event Commitment: preparations start in September; LPMS Spirit Week is scheduled for the end of October, decorations go up Friday after school the week before (October 23, 2026), decorations in the lobby are taken down at the end of Spirit Week. Assist with the Color War Clash held on Wednesday afternoon that week.  

Treat Cart Committee - Help brighten our staff’s day with a simple gesture that makes a big impact! The Treat Cart Committee delivers monthly surprises to our amazing LPMS staff, showing them how much our PTO and community appreciate all they do. Volunteers can enjoy a fun, easy way to give back while spreading smiles throughout the school. PTO and our Community Partners will provide a special treat and we need volunteers to deliver to our wonderful staff members during the day.

Time/Event Commitment: Once a month September - April days vary
